The goal was to create a set of animated endcards that felt distinctly Mugsy, confident and clean. These endcards needed to do more than just close out a video. They had to drive brand recall, feel consistent across different types of content, and give Mugsy a recognizable finish that could be dropped into any video, paid or organic.
We started by looking at how Mugsy was showing up across channels, identifying where the brand voice was strong and where it was getting lost. From there, we mapped out two endcard formats: one designed for short-form social and one built to hold up in longer-form content like YouTube. We anchored both endcards around two core elements of Mugsy’s brand identity: the stretch and the motorcycle. The “Mugsy stretch," became a key motion element in both animations. It’s not just a product feature, it’s a whole attitude, and we made sure it showed up with personality.
The second endcard leaned into another Mugsy symbol: the motorcycle. Over time, it’s become shorthand for the brand’s easygoing confidence and slightly rebellious edge. By integrating it into the animation, we gave Mugsy a second visual signature that’s just as recognizable and just as fun.
Once the animations were finalized, we delivered a usage guide to help the Mugsy team plug the endcards into their workflow with ease.
